The beach has been gouged away, by a recent big south swell, leaving a rare flat section of sand in front of the club house. With no surf it was a great place to play touch footy in the dead of winter. Well actually, more like in the middle of a perfect Indian Spring Summer.
The ocean seems to be nestling in for the night as long winter shadows visibly glide down the beach. If you ever hit stress factor 9, this photograph invites you to drop in and the calming effect is contagious.
