On a brisk westerly wind the scattered clouds raced out over the eastern horizon. I framed off this scene and waited until after sunset to highlight the half moon against a darker sky. The clouds did their own thing and it was like creatures from the deep. The cloud beside the moon became a flying sea dragon and top center, is the outline of a fish.

Clinging in a scalloping effect to Avalon beach, the windswept ocean adds to this beautifully moody and minimalist panorama.
