Perfect Waves

A great start to winter and if June/July is anything like last year you will be growing barnacles by Spring

Third day of an intense low pressure system hammering Sydney and the ocean is starting to cleaning up.

This awesome photograph pretty much tells a story that the locals know so well - North Avalon is one of the few places, on the Northern Beaches, that handles any size swell and remains accessible, if your prepared to run the gauntlet....

For a pre surf adrenalin rush, entry point is from an exposed rock ledge just beyond the tidal boulders of Indian Head. Make your move between sets and watch your footing..... At this size, experienced surfers and locals only.
