Another amazing side to Avalon. Lobster Pots is the only "classic" point break (left hander) on the coast. It can be scratchy but, the recent huge storms seem to have knocked a few tidal boulder into place and, it's been pumping ever since...... On an in-coming tide with east to north east swell it's goofy footer heaven. Oh yeh! - Until you learn the layout, don't forget your pop-out fin kit and crash hat......
The bottom photo is the view from Indian Head, right beside the impact zone, looking back down the line to Avalon Beach. The top and bottom photographs are of the same place, taken at the same time (within 10 minutes), on the same day and shows how different the story can be when you look at it from both sides...... (Could be a message in that?) "Lobster Pots - Impact Zone"
