Located below the tide line, at the foot of Indian Head, these enormous boulders have remained unmoved by the most massive ocean swells. But size is no reprieve. The journey started 350 million years ago, as sand in a river, and they are destined to complete the loop. Wind and waves will take them back, a grain at a time.
